Mpact PR, LLC is an independent consulting firm specializing in short-and long-term PR campaigns, media relations, strategic planning/partnerships and communications workshops for diverse audiences.

We are dedicated to working with public-interest clients with a focus on the arts, education, international and lifestyle industries. Mpact also promotes entrepreneurs, authors and experts.

We collaborate with practitioners with global perspectives whose experiences range from being marketing executives at Fortune 500 companies and advertising mavens to journalists at national publications and social media gurus to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Jacqueline Lara is the visionary force behind Mpact PR, LLC. She started the firm while consulting part-time at an international non-profit. The unofficial ‘launch’ event took place in New York, when Jacqueline and consultant Sai Pradhan conducted a successful communications workshop for PR and non-trade professionals in April of 2008.

Jacqueline has experience in multiple aspects of publicity and produces real results for her clients. Jacqueline started ground-up in the field sharpening her communications skills in a range of settings, first as an intern at a corporate PR firm, then as a volunteer at a radio station.  Since then, she has worked at the nation’s largest public-interest PR firm and a specialized broadcast PR firm.

Jacqueline’s academic background in sociology brings a fresh perspective to her communications work, as she always finds herself compelled to understand what motivates people to take action. Her strong relationships with journalists, which she cultivates and develops on an on-going basis, have allowed her to learn what makes their audiences tick and what shapes their stories.

So what fuels Jacqueline’s creativity and the strategies she devises for her clients? Music, keeping up with her toddler and a challenge, like pitching media outlets in a different language or across time zones.
